Who processes your data
This app is the digital guide of Tenuta L'Essenziale (Contrada Boccadoro – SP 28, 72017 Ostuni (BR)). Data processing is handled by the property through its management agency, Apulia Exclusive Houses. For any request about your data, write to info@apuliahouses.com.
What data, and why
House-rules signature: if you choose to sign, we collect your full name and your digitised handwritten signature. They document your acceptance of the house rules, as part of the holiday rental contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Technical logs: like any website, the hosting provider briefly records technical connection data (IP address, browser type) for security and operation.
Nothing else: the app has no sign-up, no database of its own, and collects no other personal data.
Where your data lives
Your signature is stored only on your device (browser local storage) until you delete it — via "Sign again" or by clearing the site data.
If you choose to send the signed PDF to the agency, the document is delivered to the agency's email box. Delivery relies on technical providers acting on our behalf: Vercel (hosting of the site and of the sending function) and Resend (email delivery, servers in the European Union, Ireland). The email is then kept by the agency for as long as needed to manage the contract and meet legal obligations.
Cookies: we use none
This app uses no profiling cookies, no third-party cookies, no analytics and no advertising. That is why we never ask you for cookie consent.
We only use your browser's local storage for features you request: your chosen language, saved favourites, the check-out checklist, the signature state and a temporary weather cache. This data never leaves your device and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
The "Today" page queries the open-meteo.com weather service using the house's coordinates, not yours.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability of your data by writing to info@apuliahouses.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (gpdp.it).
The outdoor areas of the property are under video surveillance for security: the specific notice is displayed on site and referenced in the house rules.
